A couple of days ago when we experienced a very wild, windy weather accidents like this were very often in our area. But Budapest was still quite lucky, towns like Miskolc are still under water.

This blue is how it is in the twilight in the winter season. This photo was taken on the Buda side. In this photo, besides the silhouette of the branches and the house, you also get a glimpse of the street vandalism which can be typically found anywhere in Budapest. This little corner is at the Zichy castle in Óbuda. They call it castle and it was really the property of the Zichy family but it rather reminds me of a XIXth Century style military building.

Still from the Rózsadomb:) I like this house which is actually two houses built together. Ok, maybe the windows are a little too small, but I still like the mood.
I like streets with special mood. Gül Baba was an Ottoman dervish and poet living in the middle ages when Buda has been occuppied by the Ottomans for 150 years. The street named after him is a little narrow street leading up to the hill. There is nothing special, no stores, museums or anything like that just a little street with special mood.:)
The best in the continental climate is that it makes sense to organize outdoor activities especially for the summer. Soon we will travel to Singapore with Zannnie and I prepare myself to the tropical days and nights:)
It’s been a very windy day today, even the swing (”hinta”) is swaying to and fro by itself due to the strong wind. This is a garden view in Buda, awaiting for Spring. It’s strange, but the weather forecasts said that there might be snow on Thursday in Budapest or probably in parts of Hungary…Is the spring in where you live with some surprises of ‘snow’ too?:)
Most of the movies are located in large malls nowdays. But there are still some little traditional ones with a more friendly athmosphere. One of them is the Bem Mozi in Budapest.
I was playing with the colors. This is a typical view to the hills of Buda.
