Last Second Day of 2011

Last Day of 2011

Counting down two days to 2012, this photo of Budapest Daily Photo is taken at the Basilica. I like the mood around this area sometimes. This is a big area and recently I found a nice new Hungarian cafe/restaurant bar that has a part of it selling Hungarian souvenirs on the other side.

Basilica Garage in Budapest (Bazilika Garázs)

This is rather a mood shot in the underground garage in the city at Vaci ut. If you are in the city during a working day, it can be rather difficult to find a parking place in the downtown. So of course the fastest way is to solve this simply park at the Bazilika Garázs. Here’s a video detailing how it is like to park there. Are there facilities like this in your city?

Details in the Basilica

Angels and Demons NOT
Golden detailings everywhere. That’s the Basilica built in honour of Saint Stephen I of Hungary, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose incorruptible right hand is housed in the reliquary. You can access the dome by elevators or the 364-stairs for a 360° view overlooking Budapest.
