Moscow square
A morning scene on the Moscow Square. Nowdays it is getting warmer and sunny this photo was taken last week.
Melting snow
In a big city snow doesn’t remain beautiful for long. After a while it will be an ugly, gray spot along the road. I don’t like this period.
Sanita’s Budapest
Our guest photographer is Sanita for today. She took this great night photo from the Elizabeth bridge I guess.
Traffic of Buda
This pictu shows quite well how the roads are running long the Danube in Buda. On the left you can see the Parliament Building and far in the background the Palace of Buda.
Tramway No.2
Not in Christmas decoration anymore, but this is the tramway No. 2. This and the tram No. 19 are the most touristic lines with a great view along the Danube.
Szentendrei street
The Szentendrei street plays a quite important role in the traffic of Budapest. It leads you to the north from the city.
Strike
There is no (or very limited) public transportation in Budapest. This picture I took weeks ago. The bus drivers are on strike and it has changed the life of the city a lot. You can see a lot of people walking on the streets. If there is no choice you will use what you have only…your legs. Lot of people with car are picking up others from the bus stations. Being on the streets I have an impression that the trouble caused by the strike brought something good, too. People are more open and helpful.
Blog day: Best photo of the year 2009
I like this photo the best from 2009. We took it in June if I remember well when we were participating the night of museums walking from one place to the other in the city.

Driving
