One of my favourite statues in Budapest is this Policemen. The artwork was created by András Illyés and it can be found at the corner of Október 6th and Zrínyi streets since 2008. The statue is really cute, loveable, many tourists are taking photos here hugging the short man with this shiny belly.:)

The pianist and composer Ferenc Liszt (Franz Liszt) was born 200 years ago. We celebrate it with concerts and events. His very impressive statue is in the downtown of Budapest.

This knight is standing in front of the Sir Lancelot medieval restaurant in the Podmanicky street.

I don’t know why they call this square Boráros..it has to be Borárus which means wine seller. But Boráros…

If you are a person who likes little details like this for your photos, you will enjoy walking about in Budapest. Lots of statues, memorials and intricate detailings on facades of major buildings. They are pretty charming and captivating.

On the Nagymező street or better known as the “broadway of Budapest“, we found this statue sitting on a bench. He is Imre Kálmán facing the house of his beloved Operetta Theater. It was believed that the bronze laptop was placed next to him by anonymous contemporary artist.

I have found this sculpture yesterday in the building of te Loreto Sisters (Angolkisasszonyok) in the Vth district of Budapest. I took a lot of photos there so you will see more soon:)

This statue I found in the City Park not far from the 56-osok Square. I have never recognised it before.:)

Don’t you just love her entire expression? : D Look at her mouth! She is saying woo-hoo I guess:) The sculpture is at the Baross street in the VIIIth district of Budapest.
