This restaurant called Promenád is located at the Danube not far from the Chainbridge on the Buda side. I have never been inside, but it looks quite fancy.

Tramway No.2
Not in Christmas decoration anymore, but this is the tramway No. 2. This and the tram No. 19 are the most touristic lines with a great view along the Danube.
Theme day: Changes
The first theme day of the year is about changes. In 2009 in Budapest the most relevant change was to me that finally we got back the Freedom (or Liberty) bridge reconstructed.

Silent nights
Nobody on the streets on these days. Thats why Christmas is a real holiday.
Tramway

The sky when it is snowing
The color of the sky at night is like this in Budapest when it is snowing and even right before that. I took the photo from our balkony.
Khell food
Khell Food has been producing and delivering sandwiches in Hungary since 1992. When I took the photo in the downtown, I didn’t know who they are. Then I checked their website and I recognised that they produce those triangular shaped sandwiches which I buy at times at the gas station when I am on my way to the country side.
Sharp Night
The advantage of the cold weather is that usually the air is less poluted. The Chainridge is in the background.
