Ötkert
Ötkert is a rather elegant Café in the downtown of Budapest. Let’s say the same concept as for the ruin pubs in the VIIth district but this is the fancy version.:)

Gerlóczy Restaurant
Gerlóczy is an international Restaurant, Hotel and Café in Budapest downtown. One of those old fashioned places where the waiters are in an uniform that together with the entire place resembles the style of the 1930′s.

Vapiano – Bécsi street
Couple of weeks ago we were posting about the Italian restaurant VAPIANO in the MOM Park. There is an other VAPIANO in the downtown area, too.

Curtain
I do not find this restaurant pretty. But some lights and a curtain can create special atmosphere.
Nordsee is closed
In 2008 we have posted about the first Nordsee in Budapest. After 3,5 years the successful German chain has bankrapted in Hungary. After Dunkin Donuts, Wendy’s, and Pizza Hut Nordsee is the fourth large chain that has failed in Hungary.
Vapiano
Vapiano is a new Italian restaurant in Budapest at the MOM Park with a strange system. You have to order your pizza at the bar by yourself but instead of queuing you get this “phone-size” gadget that will start trambling when your pizza is ready.

Again a word that I have no idea how to translate to English. Its at the foodcourt of the Westend.

Tracking back our previous posts it is obvious that we like Italian restaurants the most.:) Yesterday we have discovered a new one (at least for us new) on the Andrássy street. And guess what? I forgott it’s name.:) Anyway..I will go back to find out.
