Villány is a famous wine area in Hungary. It has a sub-Mediterranean climate. The weather is usually warm and quite dry, the vegetation period is long, the annual number of sunny hours is high and the active annual amount of heat is quite high too.

Apacuka is a cool restaurant and café in the VIIIth district of Budapest. They want to be a bit more than a café, a meeting point, a cultural center with a lot of events in a nicely renovated building of the downtown.

The main square of Óbuda is a special place in Budapest. It looked the same 100-150 years ago, too. I took this photo a couple of days ago but with help of sepia I made it like an old photo:)

Better known as Momotaro Ramen, this was the restaurant where we met up for our Singaporean Meetup. Most of us were relatively surprised to find the small number of Singaporeans living here in Budapest.

The Gödör Klub is still very popular in Budapest. Its right in the downtown, a perfect location for the youth to hang out. I like the atmosphere there. See our previous posts on Gödör klub:
