If you are a person who likes little details like this for your photos, you will enjoy walking about in Budapest. Lots of statues, memorials and intricate detailings on facades of major buildings. They are pretty charming and captivating.
This part in the Budapest downtown is one of the special spots with a nice ambience because of the buildings and architectures. Very european and in the days when you can just leisurely walk around this area, you can discover some special sights that is uniquely Budapest.

Found this in Budapest. This may not be too difficult for most people I guess. You can see the spring colours are all around and just in a week or two and the city looks entirely green like this. Love the spring weather in Budapest.
So if you know where is this captured, please feel free to write the answer in the comment box. Hint: in Budapest. Answer will be revealed tomorrow.

The cherry blossoms in Budapest are going to be bloomed in about a week’s time (I guess, and I am really looking forward to it). Yesterday’s graffiti was taken at the Rákóczi square and Tschöppy has got it correct! Congrats Tschöppy!
So today’s photo was taken at a very popular downtown spot and I guess not many people would be able to miss it. If you know the answer, pls feel free to comment in the box below (Answers will be revealed in tomorrow’s post).
There are still quite a lot of Graffiti in Budapest. Most of them looked rather ugly and totally like vandalism. This colourful one is in the downtown of Budapest. Any takers wanna guess where it is?
Answers to be revealed tomorrow. Do you need any hints for this?;)
In Budapest, you can see many interesting memorials. This special memorial is submerged partially and it used to be the facade of the Old National Theatre located at Blaha Lujza Square. This effect is a very dramatic sight on its own, what’s more as a way of remembering it.
Seeing old buildings like this in the downtown of Budapest I always imagine the age when they used these gates with horses and carriages.

Today after long weeks, I could see the sunhine once again. The photo was taken at the house of the Loreto Sisters.

I like the colours of this cafe called ‘Mai Mano‘ which is right opposite Moulin Rouge in sixth’s district of Budapest (Nagymező Street 20). Mai Mano was the emperor’s photographer at the turn of the century. Near it is a photo exhibition hall. If you like art nouveau and arabesque motifs, you need to check the inside of this cafe.
