Armageddon
Really strange weather in Budapest nowdays. During the day its okay..quite sunny..even hot. Around 7-8pm from the nowhere very cruel clouds are arriving with a wicked 80 km/h wind. And the storm has began….
Liberty bridge
The new design of the Liberty Bridge, Budapest. The bridge was under renovation and now they gave it back to the public.

National Gallop
At the end of May they will organize for the second time the National Gallop in Budapest. Hungary has a lot of tradition with horses and hussars and this new event tries to link people to their own history and culture. See more info on National Gallop here.

The Theme Day in the City Daily Photo family is about shadows for this month. This photo was taken at the Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest.
Sharp contrasts
I love when the clouds are dark but there is still some sunshine on the buildings. One of the best moments for taking photos. This church is in Buda, not far from the Tabán.
Budapest Critical Mass 2009
Critical Mass Budapest is a mass demonstration aimed at bringing the public’s attention to the crisis caused by motor vehicles, e.g. traffic jams and environmental pollution. It promotes the bicycle as a healthy, fast, cheap and environmentally friendly alternative mode of transport. The organisers of this event would like to encourage the local population to use their bicycles for transportation whenever possible, and not just for recreation or sports. (www.criticalmass.hu)

Again the lights. I loved how the light and shadow is playing on this statue. Its in the Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest.

I walked out of my friend’s house in Budapest , the spring morning sunshine, blossoming flower of cherry blossom…. too beautiful!
