Autumn Golden Yellow Tree | Budapest

Autumn Golden Yellow Tree | Budapest
There is something about my wife Zannnie’s post. She can’t get enough of several things in Budapest. From the architectures in Budapest such as the Parliament building, to hungarian cuisine, to the beautiful Autumn here in Budapest. So once again, here’s another something she loves about living here in Budapest :) Hope you’ll like it too…

Near Kálvin tér (Calvin Square) Budapest

Kálvin tér (Kálvin Square) Budapest

Kálvin tér was named after John Calvin who was a French Protestant Reformer. John is János in Hungarian. That makes his name Kálvin János :) You can get to the Hungarian National Museum easily by getting to Kálvin tér station on the M3 Budapest Metro. This is also a major square and intersection where Múzeum körút (‘Museum boulevard’), Vámház körút, Üllői út (‘Üllő street’), Baross utca (‘Baross street’), and Kecskeméti utca (‘Kecskemét street’) converge.

A walk up the János Hill | Budapest

Green Forest | Budapest

Before arriving to the top of János Hill, at the highest point of Budapest, you could see these greens. It is like a green forest and in the autumn it could look more colourful. I will post some autumny photos soon :)

On the hill stands the Elizabeth Lookout (Erzsébet-kilátó, built in 1908-1910). The lookout offers a splendid view in all directions and in clear weather it is possible to see as far as the mountain peaks at 77 kilometres.

Reverse riding in the city

You must be wondering why this man on the bicycle is riding with his arms crossed :)

Well, he caught many eyes watching him because it was car free day when the public is allowed to walk on the main Andrassy ut. and this guy was trying to ride a special bicycle which has a reverse reaction when you turn to the direction, that was why he tried to counter this action by crossing his arms ;)

József Attila square

Budapest - Józse Attila square

József Attila square in the XIIIth district. It is the same place as on the photo in this post but taken from the other direction. In the background you can see the hills of Buda.

Autumn in Kőbánya

Budapest Autumn

Zannnie took this picture in the Xth district of Budapest which is called Kőbánya. She likes autumn and winter in Hungary the summer is boring for her because its just like in Singapore:)
