Budapest Autumn 2011

Margaret Island, Danube River, Autumn 2011

That’s Margaret Island in the background and the foreground is the Danube River. Budapest can be so beautiful in Autumn and it is one of my favourite seasons throughout the year.

Golden yellow Budapest

Momo and Zsolt

This time of the season is when you will see golden yellow colours everywhere in Budapest. The leaves that has been “waving” for a while and wind starts to blow much stronger has made them all fallen onto the pavements and roads. You can see them everywhere and it makes this city brighter. I just love the romantic autumn in Budapest!

Beautiful Autumn Season in Budapest by Zannnie

Autumn in Budapest by ZannnieAutumn colours are so beautiful here in Budapest. It is just one of my favourite seasons because it is so photogenic. It is a great weather for in a light coat, you can walk in those places that you used to go to, but with different “autumny” sensations and mood all around.

Red Leaves . Yellow Leaves . Green Leaves | Budapest

leaving the yellow, towards the red

I was a bit surprised too. To see the beautiful colours all around me and now being able to capture it all in one photograph is like a wish come true! :) Nothing beats seeing these beautiful autumn colours. It just bring smiles to my face for the rest of the day. Hope it cheers you up and have a great weekend!

This photo was taken near the MOM park.

Budapest’s faces

Walking along the Budapest streets can be quite an enjoyable process. You will notice these faces as facade decorations on old architectures and buildings. These days, the attire is none other than a warmer coat. The temperature has now lowered to about 7ºC in the day to about 0ºC in the evenings or night.

Have a good weekend! The public holiday All Souls’ Day is around the corner and people are visiting their ancestor’s graves. And those of you who are into Halloween, happy halloween! :)
