Old but beautiful

Old but beautiful

You might or might not agree. I think the architectures in Budapest might looked old but somehow they have a beautiful charm. I like this old world charm. I am also wondering who lives in that topmost of this building.

The most beautiful building

Parliament Building.jpg

This Hungarian Parliament Building has similar features to the Palace of Westminster. In the Gothic Revival style, it has a symmetrical facade and a central dome. The river where the lights created such a reflection on is the Danube River.

Theatre next to the Danube

Museum Budapest

You can find this next to the bank of the Danube. The nearest bridge is the Lágymányosi bridge. If you are roaming outside the theatre at the park that surrounds the area, you can see the numerous memorials commemorating the Hungarian drama and film industry.

Frescoed Cupola Inside the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest

Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest

As always, a picture speaks a thousand words. Fantastically ornate interior. Lots of glam and gold, paintings, lavishly decorated carvings… you must at least have a glimpse if you are not there for an opera. Have a glimpse ;)

Budapest Downtown

Budapest

This part in the Budapest downtown is one of the special spots with a nice ambience because of the buildings and architectures. Very european and in the days when you can just leisurely walk around this area, you can discover some special sights that is uniquely Budapest.
