Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok)

Budapest photos central market hall

One of my favourite Budapest places is the Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok in Hungarian). Several reasons: it is very central, worth while to visit with its heritage and beautiful architecture. To be honest, it doesn’t look like a ‘wet market’. It has very beautiful designs on its gate, the produce offered are very fresh. If you are visiting Budapest in Spring, the strawberries are really delicious. On the second floor, you can find Langos and eat it on the spot. Here’s another view of the iron grillings of the gate.
