Love the spring time with fresh changes of the nature, flowers and trees everywhere in Budapest. This is taken outside the Kogart Museum at Andrassy street.

So this is taken in the broad day light – Szimpla Kert is one of the most popular nightlife spots in Budapest. It is a ruin pub and you can find lots of universities students clubbing, partying, drinking. Its name simply means ‘Simple Garden’ :)

5 years ago (gosh I remembered it was like last year only) three firefighters died in a fire at the Technical University (BME) in Budapest. This plaque is on the wall of the University now.
p.s. Yesterday’s photo was taken at Nyugati tér, congrats to Pierre-Edouard from France (Sabary PE)!
The cherry blossoms in Budapest are going to be bloomed in about a week’s time (I guess, and I am really looking forward to it). Yesterday’s graffiti was taken at the Rákóczi square and Tschöppy has got it correct! Congrats Tschöppy!
So today’s photo was taken at a very popular downtown spot and I guess not many people would be able to miss it. If you know the answer, pls feel free to comment in the box below (Answers will be revealed in tomorrow’s post).
There are still quite a lot of Graffiti in Budapest. Most of them looked rather ugly and totally like vandalism. This colourful one is in the downtown of Budapest. Any takers wanna guess where it is?
Answers to be revealed tomorrow. Do you need any hints for this?;)
These apartments are usually very expensive as they are along the Danube river in the XIII.th district. That are has a special athmosphere to me.
Church of St. Anne, Szent Anna Templom, in Budapest is one of the religious sites located at Batthyany ter 8, constructed between 1740-62. Baroque elegance, high alter statues. It makes an excellent part of a walking tour on Buda side if you do not want to miss this oval-domed ceiling fresco.
In Budapest, you can see many interesting memorials. This special memorial is submerged partially and it used to be the facade of the Old National Theatre located at Blaha Lujza Square. This effect is a very dramatic sight on its own, what’s more as a way of remembering it.
National Theatre in Budapest, Nemzeti Szinhaz is at Róth Miksa Street, right next to the River Danube. Congratulations to Antoine who correctly answered yesterday’s quiz about Zoltán Latinovics on the left of the Curtain Sculpture which serves as the entrance to the sculpture garden.
Some weeks ago, I started a mini quiz about guessing where that photo was taken in Budapest. I received feedbacks to post more photos like that. Today, is yet another mini quiz about a detail I found. I am honestly very curious who can guess where this was taken. Again the big HINT is: Somewhere in Budapest; Pest side.
