Marxim

Marxim Budapest

This restaurant (rather pub) is designed after the the stlye of soviet communism. It is located in the IInd district of Budapest. Do not expect anything fancy but a funny place with communist posters, flags and symbols.

Cafe Mozart, Budapest – All things mozart

This is the Cafe Mozart at the Erzsébet körút 36. I heard that the staff were dressed in historical costumes, there were paintings featuring Mozart‘s life on the walls and that this cafe has an airy relaxed feel. Pity I didn’t get to try it as strangely it has been closed for long.

PsychArt24

Psychoart

Last Friday we were painting at an event called PsychArt24. The event was organized by the Artbrut Galeria in the Paulay Ede street in Budapest. Art brut is a movement created by French artist Jean Dubuffet to describe art created outside the boundaries of official culture. He was particularly interested in the artwork of people with mental health problems.
