After storm

After storm - Budapest

A couple of days ago when we experienced a very wild, windy weather accidents like this were very often in our area. But Budapest was still quite lucky, towns like Miskolc are still under water.

The photo was taken by Andrea Kalmár. (Thanks Andrea):)

Parliament building

Budapest

At times you take a photo accidentally that looks like a well prepared composition. We were driving home and Zannnie took some photos from the car and caught this moment not far from the Batthyany square in Buda.

Iron Curtain on Andrassy

I found this on the Andrassy street right in front of the Terror House. The demolition of the Iron Curtain started in Hungary during the summer of 1989. First it was the removal of Hungary’s border fence and the Pan-European Picnic when thousands of East Germans began to emigrate to West Germany via Hungary on September 11, foreshadowing the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989.

MOM Park Cinema

This is a 9-screen multiplex cinema, Central Europe’s first digital cinema which has the most modern digital laser projection system in Hungary. One of our regular weekend movie place. German exam

Budapest

On friday I took my German exam at this place. I had to translate a document that was actually the concept of Soteria Bern. I like this initiative. If one day I go crazy I would prefer to be treated like this. I will know the results within a few days:)
