Budapest metro

The Budapesti metró is the metro system in Budapest. It is the second-oldest underground metro system in the world.

Line 1 (been around since 1896) and was declared a World Heritage Site in 2002.

There are three existing lines, namely, yellow line 1, red line 2, blue line 3. Very easy to remember since each is designated by a number and a colour.

Metro Line 4 is currently under construction.

  2. Budapest, multi-faceted jewel. If only I could get on the metró right. Kösz Zsolt, tök jó ezek a képek. Budapest rakssz!

  3. Guessing by the metal panels on the pillars, I can tell this is not lines 1 or 2. I assume this is Deak Ferenc Ter on the third metro line? Its either that or Kalvin Ter but more than likely its Deak Ter.

  4. Richard…to be honest I have no idea where this photo was taken:) Zannnie took it and I have stolen it from her:)))

    Nagyszultán: köszi!:)
