Hungarian king

Recently, we saw the movie Robin Hood and the entire settings about those days in Nottingham was kind of consistent historically. Those little details of the dirtiness, the kind of uneven grounds, the small size of the army and at night when the rats are also celebrating on the feasting table of food etc. You can hear the sounds and smell with these little descriptions visually, even it was just a film, a movie. I wonder what kind of living conditions of the king in the 1001 in Hungary is like? All we see now that’s left is the 100 metres tall Basilica of Esztergom which is believed to be his residence.
