I guess yesterday we had the heaviest snowing in Budapest. We haven’t experienced anything like this since years. In fact I had to dig the gate out of the snow in the morning.

So that’s where all the snow went :P
That is a lot of snow. Does Budapest have a good department of transportation to remove all that snow from the streets?

I was in Budapest and Szentendre in September 2009 and I remember some of the places posted in this blog. It sure brought back beautiful memories. We did enjoy Budapest, we enjoyed the people most of all. We stayed at the Hotel Baross, across the street from Keleti. I remember taking tram 19 up and down the Danube. I remember Bethyanny ter.

Budapest is my favourite city in the world, I feel so at home there… I have visited five times and I can’t wait to come back – your photos remind me how wonderful it is. Love the snow!
