Yesterday we have got the H1N1 vaccine at the Rószakert Medical Center in Budapest. Zannnie was a little bit afraid of the injection but she was very popular among the nurses there:) They found it exotic that she is from Singapore.

Hope you don’t suffer after-effects – my arm hurt for a week after I had the swine flu jag!
It should be alright Zsolt. I received my H1N1 vaccination and it was painful at first. I even felt sick. I am fine now though. Zannie has nothing to worry about. It might interest you to know we had an article in the Metro newspaper (they have it in Budapest as well I believe) about the H1N1 flu in Hungary. They were saying that 16 people have died from it and they are now ordering all Santa’s to get the vaccine.
If you want to see the article I mentioned it can be found here http://reader.metronews.ca/digital_launch.aspx?ID=ae45d194-e887-4f4e-bfc7-62a403de57df on page 30 of the newspaper. Its the article with the picture of the Santa.
Thanks Richard:)
Jackie….until now we do not experienced any sideeffect of the vaccine
I didn’t get it. I never get the flu so I will take my risk.
My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.
thank God! Fortunatelly in Hungary by today there are 70% less infected people.
during the height of the H1N1 or Swine Flu epidemic, i was very afraid to get infected with this disease and i wore face mask whenever i got into heavily populated areas.
