Mammut plaza

Budapest

Budapest has not as many malls as Singapore or Shanghai. In Buda the Mammut Plaza is the biggest one. Some says that malls are not nessecary at all as they destroy the traditional little stores. Others are always in malls using it as a community place.

Reconstructions and constructions

Budapest - reconstruction works

Again and again. This time they “picked up” the rails of the tramway 4-6 which is replaced now by busses. This photo is an artwork of Zannnie:) She took it from the car while I was driving with a speed that caused this cool effect:)

Vajdahunyad Castle

Vajdahunyad Castle- Budapest

An other photo about the Vajdahunyad Castle. This mess in front of it was originally a lake. They started to reconstruct it like 2 years ago and forgot to finish it.

Early evening traffic

Budapest

The bus No 7 is rushing on the Elizabeth bridge in Budapest. This Bus is one of the most busy line in the capital.

Posted from Elisabeth Bridge.

Palace of Arts

Palace of Arts Budapest

The Palace of Arts is a quite new concerthall in Budapest. Maybe not as attractive as the Esplanade in Singapore (oh yeah…we are just back from there!):) but still a very interesting a place.

Night – August Theme Day

Danube River (Duna)

As you can see, in contrast to Singapore, in Budapest there is no skyscrapers and this is the night cityscape with reflections on the Danube River. Still this place is a beauty to me, what do you think? :)
