20th of August is one of the National Holidays in Hungary. Oh yes we have three of them (March 15, Aug 20, Oct 23). Today we celebrate the constitution of the Hungarian state, this is the day of St. Stephen the first king of Hungary. On the picture you can see the swearing in ceremony of the new military officiers.

I watched the fireworks live online via http://www.hirado.hu and was amazed. I enjoyed them so much. On Canada Day here in Canada we never have such elaborate and coordinated fireworks shows. I hope I can get there to see them next year. Miklósa Erika was amazing. I loved the when she performed during the fireworks it was an outstanding performance on her part. When they played the Himnusz near the end of the fireworks I truly felt Hungarian, I felt what it is like to be Hungarian. Sok Szeretlek Magyarorszag!
