Budapest has not as many malls as Singapore or Shanghai. In Buda the Mammut Plaza is the biggest one. Some says that malls are not nessecary at all as they destroy the traditional little stores. Others are always in malls using it as a community place.

Ah, Budapest, the city with a mall at every street corner. =) Mammut and the surrounding area used to be where we’d hang out all weekend long during high school, at the arcades, the cafes, the bars, the movies, the bowling alley… Good memories flooding back, thank you!
