1. Great capture of the night lights of the City and River. Nice composition Zsolt.

2. There is a Budapest webcam. it shows the Danube you can see how high it really is. Nothing compares to 2006. I remember when I was there in June 2006, the Danube overflowed and flooded a road next to its banks. They even had sandbags in the Batthyany Square Metro station which ironically enough had water in it. I believe the flooding in 2006 was the highest it had ever been. I wonder if next year the Danube will just dry up like it did in 2003

4. I’m pretty sure I have a photo taken from nearly the exact same spot, but in daylight, in 1994. Wow, it’s been far too long since I’ve been to Budapest!

5. This was taken from Castle Hill. I took an identical picture at night in 2008. I believe it was taken near Buda Castle
