I remember in June 2008 when only the one side of the bridge was open with plywood and wire fence being the only thing protecting people from falling into the river. It was horrible and the bridge looked awful covered over. I like it better now. I hear they are redoing the Margaret Bridge this year. At least the Trams will be running across the bridge unlike when they redid the liberty bridge so people can still access the island, although I think they will close the underpass on the Margaret bridge. Nice picture. I have a picture from 2008 where the bridge was being renovated if you like to have it. Would you like me to find it?
Great photo. Due to cold weather in February unfortunetly I only managed to take morning pictures mostly. I am sending you a photo of the same bridge I took in the morning. It was undergoing road works and it was closed for pedestrians.
