Iron shoes

These iron shoes are on the Danube Promenade right at the Parliament Building. It is a memorial to the Budapest Jews who fell victim to the Arrow Cross militiamen in Budapest and depicts their shoes left behind on the bank when they fell into the river after having been shot during World War II.

Again the lights. I loved how the light and shadow is playing on this statue. Its in the Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest.

Its amazing how the sunshine is reflecting on the stairs of this office building center. Its in the XIIIth district of Budapest on the Váci street.

Rose in Budapest
Zannnie’s Singaporean friend is our guest nowadays in Budapest. Rose is an executive chef in Switzerland so its like having a gastronomic exchange at our home:) Rose tried hortobágyi palacsinta, lángos, rakott káposzta and we get to eat Hainanese chicken rice, szechuan chicken, duck and salads…:)
