  1. An unforgettable image – lovely. Maybe 2009 is the year I’ll finally make it to Budapest (although to be honest, it’s not looking likely, I can still hope) Happy New Year to you and all yours from London

  2. What a stunning image, I can see why you have selected it as your best.

Lovely work, I am really looking forward to following your blog throughout ’09.

    Happy new year.

    Gary.

  3. Zolt, this took my breath away in the thumbnail version. A magnificent image Gallmese made. I was inspired by your use of guest photographers to ask two of my faves from here in Seattle to do guest spots, and it has been wonderful, so thanks for the great idea!
Best to you in this new year. Keep warm, and blessings for good health and much happiness in 2009.

  4. This truly is worthy of being labelled your top shot of 2008. It’s framed beautifully! Greetings for the New Year, and I wish you much happiness and good health for 2009. Kate of Visual St. Paul and Mazatlan, Mexico.

  5. Wow, this is a fantastic photo. Great choice for theme day. I hope you and yours have a very happy new year.

The anti-spam word that came up when I got to the comments section was “stunning”. That made me smile. It seemed to describe your photo perfectly.

  6. I was asked to type in the word “stunning” as the anti-spam word for this comment. And it’s exactly what I have in mind about this shot!
    What an ethereal looking scene!

    Happy New Year!
