January 1, 2009 - Theme Day: Best photo of the year 2008

Good morning Budapest!

The best is to start the New Year with a wonderful Budapest photo. I have chosen for this theme day Gallmese’s wonderful early morning picture which I posted in 2008 february .

An unforgettable image – lovely. Maybe 2009 is the year I’ll finally make it to Budapest (although to be honest, it’s not looking likely, I can still hope) Happy New Year to you and all yours from London

Zolt, this took my breath away in the thumbnail version. A magnificent image Gallmese made. I was inspired by your use of guest photographers to ask two of my faves from here in Seattle to do guest spots, and it has been wonderful, so thanks for the great idea!
Best to you in this new year. Keep warm, and blessings for good health and much happiness in 2009.

Wow, this is a fantastic photo. Great choice for theme day. I hope you and yours have a very happy new year.

The anti-spam word that came up when I got to the comments section was “stunning”. That made me smile. It seemed to describe your photo perfectly.
