December 29, 2008 - Videoton

Budapest

Videoton used to be the largest company dealing with electronics in Hungary before 1990. The company exists nowdays, too. They consider themselves: Contract Electronics Manufacturer but I cant remember when I saw last time a new Videoton product. This advertisement is near the Ferenciek tere, Budapest.

As I wrote yesterday the second and third day of Christmas is still about family events. Just like for us, too. Here is my sister and her family with her cute children singing christmas songs. That little horse is a crazy present:)

December 26, 2008 - The strom is over

Budapest

During Christmas days all the stores and malls are closed. This is the only real holiday when everything calms down and people are with their families only in Budapest. Thats what I like in Christmas.

December 23, 2008 - Free again for trams

Freedom Bridge Budapest

The Freedom (Liberty) Bridge is still under construction and doesnt look like on this photo. (I took this photo like a year ago). But the other day they opened it partly and trams are crossing bridge again.

In a co-operation with the www.hungarystartshere.com site, starting from today, there will be a new Budapest Quiz. Maybe some of you still remember that last year, Meg (Nelson Daily Photo) and Jazzy (Tuzla Daily Photo) had both won a box of Szamos Marcipán each. This year, we (Zannnie and Zsolt) will offer to the winner a bottle of Tokaji Wine and the www.hungarystartshere.com portal offers one of their Hungary guide books in English.

See more details here.

The question of the 9th week is available here:

9, Which place became famous after Ferenc Molnár’s book entitled ”Paul street Boys (Pál utcai fiúk)”?

A, University Botanical Garden

B, Eastern Railway Station

C, Kerepesi Cemetery

We post new questions every week. It means for 7 days, we post the same question then we publish the next one. Such way you have a week to find us and to find the right answer:) If you answered this question already, you need not send it again!
