November 25, 2008 - murphyyy’s Budapest

Budapest

Our guest photographer is murphyyy for today. This great photo was taken from the top of the Westend City Center and you can see the Marx square (ups what did I say..) I mean the Nyugati square.:))

In a co-operation with the www.hungarystartshere.com site, starting from today, there will be a new Budapest Quiz. Maybe some of you still remember that last year, Meg (Nelson Daily Photo) and Jazzy (Tuzla Daily Photo) had both won a box of Szamos Marcipán each. This year, we (Zannnie and Zsolt) will offer to the winner a bottle of Tokaji Wine and the www.hungarystartshere.com portal offers one of their Hungary guide books in English.

See more details here.

The question of the 5th week is available here:

5. What is the name of the Monument at the Heroes’ Square?

A, Millenium Monument

B, Heroes’ Monument

C, The monument of the unknown soldier

We post new questions every week. It means for 7 days, we post the same question then we publish the next one. Such way you have a week to find us and to find the right answer:) If you answered this question already, you need not send it again!

The answer is A, Millenium Monument No, I’m not so clever (your anti-span word), but I’m learning a lot with this quiz, thanks!

This is a gorgeous photograph! Very evocative of an earlier century, if it weren’t for all the cars.

My answer for this week’s question: A, Millenium Monument
