Western Railway Station

Nyugati

When it comes to Western Railway Station you can see usually photos like this. But behind the shiny facades the industrial part looks rather like this:)

In a co-operation with the www.hungarystartshere.com site, starting from today, there will be a new Budapest Quiz. Maybe some of you still remember that last year, Meg (Nelson Daily Photo) and Jazzy (Tuzla Daily Photo) had both won a box of Szamos Marcipán each. This year, we (Zannnie and Zsolt) will offer to the winner a bottle of Tokaji Wine and the www.hungarystartshere.com portal offers one of their Hungary guide books in English.

See more details here.

The question of the second week is available here:

2. What does the figure of the Liberty statue hold in her hands?

A, a sword

B, a palm branch

C, a child

We post new questions every week. It means for 7 days, we post the same question then we publish the next one. Such way you have a week to find us and to find the right answer:) If you answered this question already, you need not send it again!

Very industrial, alright, but I like it. The view is very impressive.

And my answer is B, a palm branch.

  2. This makes me think of the Joan Baez song “Diamonds and Rust”.
