A Hotel right at the Danube. I am sure if the inside of it looks good, but from the outside, this building is like the symbol of the ’80s to me. Don’t worry! Retro is a fashion:)

Budapest quiz
In a co-operation with the www.hungarystartshere.com site, starting from today, there will be a new Budapest Quiz. Maybe some of you still remember that last year, Meg (Nelson Daily Photo) and Jazzy (Tuzla Daily Photo) had both won a box of Szamos Marcipán each. This year, we (Zannnie and Zsolt) will offer to the winner a bottle of Tokaji Wine and the www.hungarystartshere.com portal offers one of their Hungary guide books in English.

Sofitel seems to be a large chain — there’s one here in Manila too. And I agree with you about how it looks so 80s! We’ve some office buildings that look like it except for the shiny windows.
;)
My answer for the quiz: B, Andrássy Avenue. This is fun!
Andrassy Avenue BABY!!!!!!!!
Interesting site I ran across. I actually stayed at a Sofitel in Minniapolis, MN (USA) a while back. It was a French hotel with many fancy amenities.
architecture très année 1980, j’aime ces grands immeubles tout en fenêtre, cela permet de faire de belles photos
architecture very 1980′s , I love these large buildings while window, we can make good photos
Nice retro look and interesting architecture. How’s everything buddy? :)
Well, if the 80s are back in fashion, it means I might be back in fashion, too. Jippee.
This used to be the Atrium Hyatt hotel, in the 80s. As its former name suggests, there is a huge atrium inside, open space up to the topmost floor. It is very nice!
I was there several times, (in the 80s) should’ve taken some pictures….
