Rákóczi square

Rákóczi tér

The Rákóczi square is one of the emblamatic place in Budapest. Its located in the VIIIth district which is the most poor area of the city and the square itself was famous of prostitutions (the street version of it) in the 80′s. As you can see on the photo the square is under construction nowdays. I have no idea what is going to be here…but I will definitelly show you:)

The buildings along the Danube river are really impressive. This particular ones would need some reconstruction but their shape is really very interesting.:)

Erzsébet

erzsébet

Not the bridge is the point on this photo. The Erzsébet bridge is really amazing, when I get close to it (actually I every day do) I always find it dramatig. Somehow so large, tall and very characteristic. And these clouds behind with the light of the sunset makes it even more dramatic.

Shiny mood

A38

This photo and the sunset one which I posted yesterday was taken on saturday afternoon on the A38 ship‘s restaurant. I think we had luck with the timing. The restaurant was almost totally empty and the late sunny afternoon gave so special lights there that we were hunting with the camera among the tables for catching the best moments. Step by step we share with you the results during the next few days.:)

Sunset in February

Sunset in Budapest

We had a really nice sunny day yesterday. And the sunset over the Danube during the late afternoon was really amazing. These buildings along the river are quite new. It seems that the downtown is extracting slowly to the southern part of Budapest, too.
