Like a year ago …or two…the stadium (turf) for horse races was located here. Now its a mall. Its not like I am a big fan of horse races but an entire culture has disappeared here and got replaced with an other one. In the background you can see the Eastern Railway Station.
I would take a horse track over a mall any day. But I would take anything over a mall.

Sad to see change and at the same time it is exciting to see change. I’m not sure a mall replacing a race track would be considered an improvement … Please tell Zannne that my wife and daughter are in Singapore as I type this comment. They are each presenting at a creativity conference. In fact I just got off the phone with them and one of there comments was to praise the city and the food.
