Is the EU really grey?

ESZA

I was hesitating if its worth to post this picture or not. The reason I have posted it finally is because this picture represents me very well the “mood” and “image” of the European Union. Well, this floor belongs to one of the organizations which is in charge to organize and manage the European Union funds. You have superhightech visitor card for entry, for the elevator even for the stairhouse you need it, but no one think about putting at least a picture to the wall.

Why is that governmental offices are usually looking so weird? Whitout any fantasy, any design…and any sense of beauty.:) Is it like this in your city, too?

  1. I don’t work in a government building but here in Los Angeles we have superhightech cards to let us on the elevator and our walls are almost but not quite as plain as in your picture. Sometimes art is put on the walls but it is usually art of a very plain sort, nothing exciting.

  2. Hi there, Im here! Well, this looks better…some of the government offices here are located in really old buildings but its good that they have elevators. It doesnt bother me though I still can see the beauty of this City despite that. Back in the Philippines, govt buildings are renovated.

This hallway looks more a hotel or the same as our apartment!
