Theme Day: Something blue

French Institute

For this theme day I have chosen the building of the French Institute. Actually its not always blue…but in July when they celebrated their 60th anniversary the whole building was shining in this great blue color. The French Institute is a great cultural center they always bring a little French athmosphere to Budapest:) Behind the building you can find a French restaurant. I never visited yet because I am still not ready for snails:)

Visit other DP sites…to see something blue all around the world:

  1. Oh shame on you.. You should get prepared for the snails because they are delicious! And how nice could it be to dine in such a beautiful restaurant with the strangely color spreading on the building but at the same time intriguing all the passer-by! I love the blue!

  2. Nice picture! We, strange french people, don’t eat only snails ;) Actually I tried snails first time with hungarian friends (one for them three, and the eleven others for me…)

  3. superbe photo, la lumière est très belle, en plus l’institut français ;o)

Superb photo, the light is very beautiful, in addition to the french institute ;O)

  4. Hey Zsolt, thanks for this – we are going there on Saturday with our kids’ French teacher!

  5. not sure what ‘DP sites’ are but it seems like a great international blog linking! Very cool!

Love the photo (and french food!… Very different from traditional Hungarian isnt it! lol)..

    Cheers!
