Benches

Kopaszi gát

These benches are at the Kopaszi Gát. The place I posted about, yesterday. They belong to the new design and I found them very attractive with these stones. I just hope that this place won’t be an exclusive yacht-port in some months.

As I promised yesterday…now I show you more about the place where to step on the grass is rather encouraged.:) This is the Kopaszi Gát (Kopaszi dyke). Until now it used to be a wild, untidy hidden bay at the southern part of Budapest but after some month renovation they created this little hidden paradise.:) Of course there are political and financial scandals around the bay..but I start to be used to these boring stuff in Hungary.:) Anyway…the place is wonderful now!!

Viszont helyette hosszasan heverésztem abban a csodás gyepben amit odavarázsoltak. Nekem nagyon tetszik, remélem hamarosan élet is lesz…

Fűre lépni szabad

Fűre lépni szabad!

Stepping on the grass is ALLOWED!:) Usually its allowed everywhere in Budapest…but this sign is even more inviting like this! And it is worth to step on it…the so called carpet-grass gives you a feeling like being (stepping, sitting, laying) on a persian carpet. I do not really know the secret of it. The grass is very thick its really hard to find the ground under it….if there is any:) Tomorrow I will tell and show more about this new place……..

This is the lookout where I took the photos I posted last days from. Actually its at the highest point of Budapest and a very popular place to visit. The building is named after queen Elizabeth (the famous Sisi) who has a sort of cult in Hungary:) I mean she is known as the wife of the Emperor Franz Joseph and she has loved Hungarians.

An other evidence of Autumn

János hegy

I took a lot of photos last saturday when we went out to an excursion to the János-hill. So you still have to bear some more.:)

Theme Day: Cemetery

The Kerepesi Cemetery is one of the most beautiful in Budapest. For this theme day I show you Szefi’s wonderful photo which has the title Au revoir. The word the lady is writing is “a viszontlátásra” which means “good bye” in Hungarian.

See other wonderful cemeteries all around the world:
