There is a lot of tension around the health system in Hungary. Some hospitals got closed other became more central and emphasized. In fact most of the hospitals (and other health facilities) in Hungary are in terrible conditions. Looking at the St. János (St. John) Hospital’s building maybe you can recognize the XIXth century features of it.

And the St. János would be among the hospitals in terrible shape?
Hard to run a country without good health care. Its scary to see so many hospitals closing and the quality of care falling short of what it should be.
Il est beau ce vieil hôpital, je le préfère au tout moderne de celui d’Evry
It is this beautiful old hospital, I prefer to everything that modern Evry
same poor health of the health system here too. and that is no good news…
We moan and complain about our health care system in the US. But overall it is very good. It is sad to see your comments on the Hungarian health care system … Professionally I am a computer consultant and many of my clients are hospitals. Personally my favorite hospital to visit is the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii. While working there, a few years back, I had an injury surfing. As a result I got a first hand look at their emergency room.
thank you Denton for the link…that place looks very friendly..I love the smiley staff on the photo. To be honest I think the attitude of the staff is even more important then the condition of the building.
