Kopaszi Gát

Kopaszi gát

As I promised yesterday…now I show you more about the place where to step on the grass is rather encouraged.:) This is the Kopaszi Gát (Kopaszi dyke). Until now it used to be a wild, untidy hidden bay at the southern part of Budapest but after some month renovation they created this little hidden paradise.:) Of course there are political and financial scandals around the bay..but I start to be used to these boring stuff in Hungary.:) Anyway…the place is wonderful now!!

Tudom, hogy csomó botrány van a Kopaszi gát körül (is), de én annyira únom már, hogy nem érdekel. El se olvastam az erről szóló részletes, szaftos cikkeket. Viszont helyette hosszasan heverésztem abban a csodás gyepben amit odavarázsoltak.

Hungary is such a beautiful country! I like the buildings and scenary…absolutely gorgeous. Eastern Europe has a certain mystical charm about it!

Beautiful place! Must be nice indeed to step on the grass there!

Maybe they want you to step on the grass to help pack the dirt in the dike more firmly (smile).

They have certainly made the area into an inviting place to walk or just enjoy the sights. Nice picture. I usually choose to ignore the political side of things too.

Your picture are good enough to see and cheer me, scandle and such like go on all over the world on very small to very large scale.
This would be a nice place to spend time relaxing while watching the world… with all its problems … go by.
