You can see a real Hero on the picture:) Its Zannnie after we climbed the János-hegy (János hill) last afternoon. The view from there is wonderful, in the next days I will show the photos we have taken there!

Yesterday blue…today yellow is the main color of the post. You know I am on of those who chose a book based on the color of the cover:) Ok just joking….:)
The Tramway No.19 is my favourite in Budapest. Of course the No. 4-6 is more important and modern because of the large traffic and because of the new combinos….and the tramway No. 2 is more famous among tourists…but the real choice is the No. 19.:) Why?
- because it goes along the Danube but not as touristic as a the Tramway No. 2.
- because not so overcrowded as the No. 4-6.
- and because its cute:)

This photo which I took couple of days ago in the downtown is about a public performance. First I didnt know what was going on. I just saw this table with the chairs in the pool (enlarge the pic to see it better). And in some minutes they started the performance. Here is the video.

This is the campus of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The semester has started a couple of weeks ago and lately when I go to work I cross this campus facing a lot of people around. To be honest its not always crowded. But at the beginning of the semester freshmen still think its obligate to visit the lectures:)

Tűzoltóság means FIRE DEPARTMENT in Hungarian. This post is dedicated to Okina:) This guy (and his mates) appeared on the Chain Bridge just a few mintues before the Critical Mass last Saturday because someone climbed up to the bridge. I was there but I even didnt realize it. Only when policemen and firemen appeared suddenly and they closed the bridge.
Unfortunatelly bridges are popular among people who try to commit suicide. Most of the time their action is only a “cry for help” but at times they really jump. This time fortunatelly it didnt happen. More photos you can see here.

Which you prefer in a city? Motorbike or bycicle? As for me I go for bycicle. When it comes to motorbikes I prefer large American choppers but not for cities….rather for long empty roads…. And today Marcsi told me that when two motorbikes meet on the road they blink to each other.:) its cool!!

Do we need a large show, with lights and with huge loudspeakers to create a good athmosphere in the public? Oh no…at times only a single piano and an enthusiastic musician is more then enough. This guy was playing at the Chain Bridge during the Critical Mass and I am very thankful that he was so creative appearing there.:) It was not a show for collecting money, it was pure fun making the event more special.
I uploaded a short video on the Criticial Mass here.

In April I reported on the Critical Mass movement in Budapest. Yesterday they had a great event again! Marching with thousands of bicycles, expressing the wish we want to make this city more livable!!
More photos on the event you can see here.

Every day I go home by car I drive through this road turning left in the cross. This photo was taken later around 8pm when I was there only for photos. But I know in the near future even afternoons (around 6pm) will be like this. Aren’t the lights of a tired evening mesmerizing?:)
