At the Festival of Folk Arts

Festival of Folk Arts

Found this ‘message board’ at the festival of folk arts. I am not sure if it is representative of Budapest, but I think it has a certain ‘flavour’ portraying the ‘folk side’ of hungary :)

I think this is how animals skins were stretched and dried before being worked into garments and such like. I have even seen maps on skins like these.
    Very interest picture.

Amazing. Wish I could understand what is written there.
I’m taking a holiday in Greece, provided the fires allow me to, so won’t be able to post and comment till mid-September. I’ll miss your posts and comments. Meanwhile I leave you in Bali at Blogtrotter. Enjoy!

The photo reminds me of something from an American Indian scene. I guess the drying of animal skins is universal.

I really like this sign! Thanks for sharing it. Do you know what it says?
