A Gothic Revival architecture example

The Gothic Revival was paralleled and supported by medievalism, which had its roots in antiquarian concerns with survivals and curiosities. In English literature, the architectural Gothic Revival and classical Romanticism gave rise to the Gothic novel genre.

  3. Yes, the Houses of Parliament in London are another example, I think! You can see lots of pix on google images but I don’t have the technology to put one here X
