I didn’t know of a poppy-seed ban. I don’t think there’s one here in Switzerland. Your snails look good, they remind me of cinnamon rolls in the US.

Hey, a happy face made of pastries!

Poppy sees are not forbidden in California, in fact you see them on bagels and stuff,all the time, but they are said to give false positive on marijuana drug tests administered in the worforce (such as those given to government workers, for instance). Personally, the only problem I ever had with poppy seeds is that it tends to get stuck in the wrong places in your teeth and then you look silly.

Zannie, I would like a bite of all three, please. Yum! I cook/bake with poppy seed all the time. In fact, here in the states one of the most popular breakfast muffins is a poppy seed muffin. Maybe our poppy seeds here are different from what you can get in Hungary.

It as been a very interesting morning looking at all the breakfasts, I have tea or coffee and toast.

Poppy seeds are available here, I like them sprinkled on top of homemade bread.

Looks good. Never heard of poppy seeds being forbidden in France. This looks rather like a French breakfast actually.
