Notice that the collars are buttoned on the nuns! I heard it may cool off there a bit during the week.
Hope it cools down Zsolt… I went to the beach this weekend: windy, 26º and cold water (18º/19º?). Weird summer…
Great picture…and I too say..Poor Sisters.
I often avoid black T-shirts when I go out into the sun so I commiserate. I wonder why their habits haven’t changed? Good photo.
the b&w goes very well to this photograph. I like the texture of this photograph and the composition
I have been loooking at your temperature and I am very satisfied to be in chilly Finland :)
Today is a first day , when we have twenty degrees Celsius for a long time.
Your photo is very fine.
great photo. i heard about the heat – here we are struggling with rain and 18 degrees
Poor nuns…The weather is really going mad, 44C°! Here, 20C° max, and rain, rain, rain every day or almost.
When each Summer (without air cond) my father was used to ask to my grand-father why, at home, he didn’t get off jacket and heat he was used to reply that what keep off cold, keep off warm :-))
Hope it cools soon for you. Black and white is the perfect setting for this shot. Those poor Sisters….
I like that you left the cross walk signal red while the rest of the photo is black and white.
The juxtaposition of the nuns and the mother and child in pants is wonderful.
