Someone told me she felt the ‘freedom statue‘ is holding a salmon :) It sounded really funny to me because she is holding a leaf. In this photo you can’t really see it very clearly since it is very small on the background, but if you click here you can see the it more clearly. To be honest, I really like the view up there in the night. So much so that I don’t mind going up there again and again…
Whatever it is I think she is using it to block the sun :)
