July 31, 2007 - ‘D’,'C’,'B’,'A’

Cheerleaders

This post is my version about the volleyball event on the weekend. Couple of weeks ago we reported on the male waterpolo so now is time to show something different:) The event was sponsored by O.B. and to be honest I find these white “materials” a bit surreal. But O.B.viously the girls are beautiful!

The countdown has been started. Two more days to see the surprise!:)

Nincs ebben az O.B. reklámlufiban valami szürreális?

July 30, 2007 - Volleyball @ Vajdahunyad Vára

Volleyball

We went to the Vajdahunyad Vára City Park to watch the Volleyball Championship ‘live’. A number of selected models and tv celebrities kick-off the event as a start and there were supporters of their fans or maybe their friends who had behaviour like some ‘celebs’ also :) The fun to see are some hunky men (for me, zannnie) and 8 sexy cheerleaders (for zsolt ;) other than these professional volleyball players. I will upload a short clip soon meanwhile hope you get the feel of the vitality within this photo to kick start this Monday :)

The countdown starts today. A surprise is coming in 3 days!:)

July 29, 2007 - The building of the Parliament in blue

At the danube

The blue evening sky, the blue Danube, the blue Parliament Building for a nice Sunday:)

July 28, 2007 - Inventions in your city

Jodeepics 019.jpg

Hungarian inventions include the noiseless match (János Irinyi), Rubik’s cube (Ernő Rubik), and the krypton electric bulb (Imre Bródy). A number of other important inventions, including holography (Dennis Gabor), the ballpoint pen (László Bíró), the theory of the hydrogen bomb (Edward Teller), and the BASIC programming language (John Kemeny, with Thomas E. Kurtz) were invented by Hungarians who fled the country prior to World War II.

What are (some) of the inventions in your city (country)?

És a kedvencem Szentgyörgyi Albert a C-Vitaminnal kimaradt Zannnie felsorolásából.:)

July 27, 2007 - clouds

Over the Danube

Thank god in the last two days we get to experience a cooler weather. Its still hot, usually around 30 during the day but not that 40+ anymore (they said it may be back soon). I don’t know how many evidences we still need about global warming. The fact is, during the last winter we didn’t actually have winter, and nowadays we were experiencing 40+ degree Celsius which has never happened in Hungary before – this is more than enough to me. Is it possible that George Bush doesn’t visit the Budapest DP to see the evidences?:)

July 26, 2007 - Zannnie’s Budapest – Lanchid

Chain Bridge, Budapest, Hungary.

Yes, this is my Budapest ;) This is one of my personal favourite of the Chain Bridge (Lanchid) and especially taking this shot after the sunset. It is because usually my SONY Cybershot ‘is not up to standard’ :) I hope you like this version of ‘Zannnie’s Budapest’ as much as I do.

July 25, 2007 - SimonDKing’s Budapest

Liberty Bridge Budapest #4

Our guest for this week is SimonDKing.

I guess that’s what we have been missing here in Budapest nowadays. A real wet, fresh rain. It was like 7.30pm Tuesday when I was inspired to write this post for today and looking out of the window at that time, I was thinking there might a chance for some rain. So this photo in the post is a sort of DESIRABLE to me :)

Ápdét legyőzve lustaságomat próbálok ismét magyarul is írni.
