This photo is the symbol of Budapest to me, in a way. It’s in the VIIIth district, in Józsefváros, the Mikszáth Kálmán Square. As you can see on this photo, the renovated buildings are standing beside the old gray houses, depicting this city is in the process to get a new face. And this image Mikszáth Square shows me lately is hopefully the future of Budapest. A live-able city with cute corners, with outside cafés and narrow streets around. I wouldn’t say that Budapest is like this already…but I hope this is the way…
Szeretem a Mikszáth teret.

Itg appears to have a good start at adding more new modern ideas to the culture.
Nice photo. Love the colour of the 2 buildings blending altogether. It’s a sunny day :) It must be great to have a nicely brewed coffee there.
have a nice day in Budapest.
une tres belle place, où il doit etre bon de prendre son cafe
a very beautiful place, where it must be wise to take its coffee
Red bricks, red chairs…you could choose this one for July theme day “something red”! A very nice place to spend a good moment with friends.
Hi Zsolt, I love the old grey buildings :) Your composition is perfect . Thanks your your visit to Hemingway.
I think your city renovations are adding a modern touch and some excitement to what was. When people are willing to invest their money into some changes then it has to be worth something. I like what they have done already and wonder what happens when it rains? Does the restaurant or cafe go out of business that day?
Have your ever seen two Hondas from the top?
I am delighted to see revitalization coming to the city. Change can be hard for some but new life can be good too.
I would love to sit at one of those tables and sip a rich coffee.
i would love to sit there and have a drink and admire your city.
i wonder if my parents sat there when they visited your city 2 months ago. hmmmm
Looks like the perfect place to spend an afternoon with a good book!
