Race

Race

What do you think, who will be the winner? Goooo TRAMWAY!!!

By the way..this photo is an evidence…showing that the earth is not flat! When it was a debate about it centuries ago, one of the arguments were that sailors see first only the top of the ships in the distance and it appeared only step by step on the horizont. Just like on this photo. First you can see the áramszedő only(help!! how to call that stuff on the top of the tramway in English?) and then the yellow surprise is coming:)

Vajon lenyomja a Combino a rendőrautót? Amúgy lenyomta…ahogy a mesében is a teknős győzött.

  1. That thing on the top of the tram that connects the electricity to the tram is called a pantograph. How do I know this? I live in a city that has trams and the new ones look very like the one in your photo. Is that a police car that the tram is ‘racing’? Surely not!! :-)

  2. hey how are you?!
i won’t be able to visit again for a while but this looks like one of those great ’70s chase scenes….great capture of a moment….but where’s the raised drawbridge?!

  3. ;o) superbe photo, je paris sur la voiture de police…bravo j’adore ce type de photo

; O) superb photograph, I bets on the police car… cheer I adore this type of photograph

  4. what a posh tram. Tramways are being installed in Nice at the moment – about 40 ks from me – I wonder if the trams will be like yours. Great way to get around a city. I remember trams from my childhood in England.

    Lovely photo. J x

  5. Hope it will be the tram but…More and more Frech cities (Nantes, Bordeaux, Paris, Nancy…) adopt trams and people seem to be happy! Good for our little planet.

  6. a beautifully taken picture. :) So is that a raised bridge? I was afraid you were standing in the middle of the road, risking your life for this beautiful photo. :D

I miss trams. Don’t have any of those in Israel. I wonder why. :( The transportation here is awful.

Anyway, have a nice weekend. :)

  7. No, we were just teasing you. It looks peaceful in Budapest. Ben watches too many trashy police shows… And I love them, too.
