Castle?

varmog 012

When I was young, I don’t play with dolls. My favourite toys were wooden building blocks. Somehow I prefer them to dolls. The place where I live dun have a single sight of castle architecture like this one in the photo. I could have been ‘building castles in the air’ back then but hey…, now I get to see many beautiful castles here in Budapest:) Rather amazing, as it is like in a dream, with the time set back to the Medieval or Renaissance! Somehow I was reminded of the story about the long hair girl, Rapunzel:)

I loved this tower. It’s so incredible. When I was there, I was taking loads of pictures and there were two newly weds having their photos taken (in full wedding dress and suit, etc.). There was a random dog running around and the couple came up to me to ask if they could pose with the dog with this tower in the background. Although it wasn’t mine, they eventually used it. The tower provided a beautiful backdrop to anything.

I was never particularly interested in dolls either but I loved the story of Rapunzel. Perhaps you and I are both romantics at heart, but not caregivers.

As a boy, I did not play with dolls but if I had the opportunity, I would certainly have hidden myself in this castle.
