These two ladies looked better in ‘real’ on this wooden door of the Magyar Tudományos Akadémia (MTA). It means the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. I wonder why one is with fruits on her head, while the other lady just posed with the fabric that looks like an ancient greek attire:) Perhaps the origins of Sciences is from Greece…hmm, i’m not too sure, really but I find this design on the door interesting. Just imagine the finest details such as the curves on the arms of these slightly flabby figures telling the onlookers the effort they took into ‘sculpting them’. Even modern ladies who goes to the gym can hardly achieve it. What do you think?

    maybe they are working hard during their daily life….housework,farmwork….lots of work, that made the ladies have such arms…:P and figures.
    and fuuny, they remind me the door-god of our country.
