Hi. It’s very odd that I found your site, but I’m very glad I did. I am a Canadian of Hungarian descent who now lives in Egypt, and I love to take photos myself. Mine is not a comment about Varoshaza, but I just wanted to make contact. I was doing a search on St. Barbara in Hungary, knowin that St. Barbara was the patron saint of the school which my uncles (whom I never knew) attended in Hunary when they were young, and I found your site. Yes, it really looked very wonderful with these colours. Actually while taking this photo, it was very very misty and foggy around this area. I was glad this photo colours turned out well…I will show you how misty it was of this morning:) in another post…

yes, they looked really ‘manly’ and some even very sexy with this olden days ‘costume’, i’ve always like to pause and ”watch” these ‘strong men’ as the pillars details than the ‘women ones’ especially when they are in holding posture;) very MANLY…!
